The Jamaican Rocksteady and Reggae singer-songwriter rose to fame as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for the vocal group The Paragons, penning classics like "The Tide Is High" before establishing a highly successful solo career. Holt was active in the music industry until he died in London on October 19, 2014.
